SBI Clerk Eligibility Details

State Bank of India (SBI) recruits Indian citizens for the post of Clerical Cadre (Junior Associate) in various SBI branches across the country. Candidates applying for SBI Clerk must satisfy the required eligibility criteria.

Nationality

  • Candidate must be a citizen of India.

Age Limit

  • Minimum Age: 20 Years.
  • Maximum Age: 28 Years.
  • Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per Government rules.

Educational Qualification

  • Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University.
  • Equivalent qualification recognized by the Central or State Government is also accepted.
  • Final year or final semester students may apply provisionally, subject to producing proof of graduation during the selection process.

Important Note

Candidates must produce valid educational qualification certificates and identity documents during document verification as per SBI recruitment guidelines.

SBI Clerk Exam Pattern

SBI Clerk selection is based on an Online Objective Test followed by the applicable selection process as notified by State Bank of India.

Important Points

  • The examination is conducted in online mode.
  • Questions (except English Language) are available in both English and Hindi.
  • Each wrong answer carries a penalty of 0.25 marks.
  • Candidates must qualify in each section as per SBI cutoff.

Candidates who qualify in the online examination are called for the interview or further selection process as notified by SBI.
