RRB Non-Technical Eligibility Details

Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), Ministry of Railways, Government of India conducts recruitment for various Non-Technical posts including Commercial Apprentice (CA), Traffic Apprentice (TA), Assistant Station Master (ASM), Goods Guard, Enquiry Cum Reservation Clerk (ECRC), Senior Clerk, Junior Accounts Assistant, Traffic Assistant, Ticket Clerk and Commercial Clerk.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidate must be a citizen of India.
  • Age Limit (Graduate Level Posts): 18 to 32 Years.
  • Age Limit (Under Graduate Level Posts): 18 to 30 Years.
  • Age relaxation is applicable as per Government rules.

Educational Qualification

  • 10+2 (Intermediate) from a recognized Board for Ticket Clerk and Commercial Clerk posts.
  • Graduation from a recognized University for CA, TA, ASM, Goods Guard, ECRC and Senior Time Keeper.
  • Graduation with Computer Typing Proficiency for Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist and Senior Clerk cum Typist.
  • Graduation from a recognized University for Traffic Assistant posts.

  • SC / ST Candidates: 5 Years.
  • OBC Candidates: 3 Years.
  • Ex-Servicemen: Length of Defence Service + 3 Years.
  • Jammu & Kashmir Domicile (1980–1989): 5 Years.
  • PwD Candidates: 10 Years (15 Years for SC/ST, 13 Years for OBC).
  • Widows / Divorced / Judicially Separated Women: Up to 35 Years (UR), 38 Years (OBC), 40 Years (SC/ST).
  • No age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC candidates applying against Unreserved vacancies.
