RRB ALP & AD Eligibility Details

Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) conducts the Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) and Assistant Driver (AD) examination for recruitment in Indian Railways. Candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria prescribed in the official RRB notification.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidate must be a citizen of India.
  • Age limit generally ranges between **18 to 30 years** (as per RRB notification).
  • Age relaxation is applicable for SC, ST, OBC, EWS, Ex-Servicemen and other reserved categories according to Government rules.

Educational Qualification

  • Matriculation (10th Pass) with ITI from NCVT/SCVT in relevant trade.
  • OR Diploma in Engineering in relevant discipline.
  • OR Degree in Engineering from a recognized University/Institute.

Selection Process

  • First Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-1).
  • Second Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-2).
  • Computer Based Aptitude Test (for ALP).
  • Document Verification.
  • Medical Examination.
